Record Setting Day at QMJHL Draft for Macs

It was a record setting day for the Macs at the QMJHL draft on Saturday
The Macs set a team record for QMJHL draft picks yesterday at the draft. The team had 8 players chosen. This was tops in Atlantic Canada and the NSMMHL for a 3rd straight year.
Shane Bowers became the highest Mac ever drafted at 4th overall to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
Matt Welsh became the 3rd Macs goalie in 4 yrs to be drafted in the 2nd round when he was taken by the Charlottetown Islanders.
