Taylar Made Security Titans move into tie of first place with victory over Pictou.

The Taylar Made Security Titans are tied for first place after an 11-3 victory over the Pictou County Weeks.

The Taylar Made Security Titans found the net often on Sunday, en route to an 11-3 win over the visiting Pictou County Weeks Major Midgets.

After a slow first period, the Titans exploded for 2 goals in the first 2 minutes of the second period, as Alex Zafiris and Andrew Graham were the early goal scorers for the Titans. Luke Short converted on a short-handed chance later in the period. Short had 3 goals on the day for the Titans, two of which being short-handed markers.

The third period was more of the same for the Titans, as they scored 8 times in the frame. Adam Brown and Riley Potter both cashed in on the power play, with Brown adding 3 assists as well.

Brody Power contributed offensively in a big way on Sunday, scoring a goal to go along with 5 assists, for a 6-point effort. Spencer Cameron had a goal and 2 assists, and Mitchell Henneberry chipped in with 3 helpers.

Kyle Campbell, Brandon Boutilier and Andrew Graham each had a goal and an assist for the Titans, who now move to 6-1 on the season. The Titans had 50 shots on goal in total.

Richard Tingley stopped 29 of 32 shots in the victory. The Taylar Made Security Titans go into the Thanksgiving break leading the league in goals against, conceding only 11 goals in 7 games played. They are also tied for first with the Cape Breton Tradesmen with 47 goals scored.
