Taylar Made Security Titans sit alone in first place after 6-5 victory over Cole Harbour.

The Taylar Made Security Titans defeated the Cole Harbour Major Midgets 6-5 on Wednesday night to take the outright lead in the NSMMHL standings.

It ended a bit tighter than they hoped for, but the Taylar Made Security Titans took home 2 points on Wednesday night after beating the Cole Harbour Major Midgets 6-5.

Six different players scored for the Titans, who now sit alone in first place with a record of 10-1.

Spencer Cameron had a goal and assist to pace the Titans, who out shot Cole Harbour 36-28.

Brandon Boutilier, Tyler Mathieu, Adam Stevens, Alex Hazelhurst and Adam Brown also scored for the Titans, while Luke Short chipped in with 2 assists.

Jake Brennan was strong in goal, stopping 23 shots for the victory.

The Taylar Made Security Titans now have time to step back and regroup, after playing 4 games in 5 nights, with 3 of them on the road. They finished the 4 games with a 4-0 record, scoring 25 goals while only surrendering 11.

The Titans are off this weekend, but are back in action on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31st, when the Cape Breton Tradesmen visit the Halifax Civic Centre for the first time this season.
