Taylar Made Security Titans hold off Tradesmen, win 8-5.
2009-10-31The Taylar Made Security Titans were up against a tough opponent in the Cape Breton Tradesmen on Saturday night, but came out with a 8-5 victory.
The Taylar Made Security Titans welcomed the Cape Breton Tradesmen to town on Saturday night, and came out with an 8-5 win.
The Titans were able to find their scoring touch throughout the game, but had numerous defensive lapses in which the Tradesmen were able to capitalize on their chances.
Spencer Cameron had 2 goals and an assist for the Titans, while Kyle Campbell chipped in with a goal and 2 helpers. Alex Hazlehurst, Riley Potter and Luke Short each had a goal and an assist, while Brandon Boutilier and Tyler Mathieu were the other goal scorers for the Titans. The Titans had 51 shots on the Tradesmen.
Richard Tingley stopped 32 of 37 shots for the win.
