Taylar Made Security Titans win first game at Monctonian.
2009-11-19The Taylar Made Security Titans are 1-0 at the Monctonian, after defeating the Tri-pen frost of Newfoundland 5-1 on Thursday afternoon.
The Titans put forward a strong, disciplined effort on Thursday against Tri-pen, and came out with a well earned 5-1 victory.
Alex Zafiris scored twice to pace the Titans, while Tyler Mathieu, Spencer Cameron and Brody Power each found the back of the net. Adam Stevens contributed 3 assists to the win.
Jake Brennan earned the victory for the Titans between the pipes.
The Titans look to go 2-0 in the Monctonian tomorrow, when they take on the Mirimichi Rivermen at 2:00PM at the Tim Horton's 4-Plex.
