Taylar Made Security Titans drop semi-final against Charlottetown.

2009-11-23

The Taylar Made Security Titans played a strong game against the Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday morning, but dropped a 4-2 decision.

The Titans were up against a tough opponent in the Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday, and lost 4-2.

The Islanders played a strong, physical defensive game, and the Titans weren't able to solve a hot goaltender late. With that being said, captain Brandon Boutilier found a way to get the puck past the goalie with 2 minutes to go, but pinged it off the iron on a great snap shot from the slot, keeping the Islanders up by a goal.

Finding the back of the net for the Titans in the game were Luke Short and Mark Falkenham.

It was a tough way to go out of the Monctonian Tournament, but the Titans are pleased with the way they performed in the 4 day event, and were the only team from Nova Scotia representing the NSMMHL in the tournament's final four.

The Titans are back in league action this weekend, when they are on the road again, heading to Sydney to take on the Cape Breton Tradesmen. Game time Saturday night is 7:30PM at Centre 200.
