Taylar Made Security Titans score 2-1 victory over Dartmouth.
2009-12-19The Taylar Made Security Titans pulled out a tough 2-1 road win in Dartmouth on Saturday night against the Subways.
Spencer Cameron scored for the Titans 20 seconds into the game, but the Titans put forth a sloppy and uninspired effort in the first period, and relied on goaltender Richard Tingley to make some timely saves to keep the score tied at 1 after frame.
The team came out with a bit more drive in the second, and overcame a slow first period to retake the momentum. Kevin Jackson converted on the powerplay at the 17:46 mark of the period on a blast from the point, which would turn out to be the game winner.
Tingley stood tall in nets, stopping 26 of 27 shots he faced.
The Titans are on the road on Sunday, when they head to New Glasgow to take on the Pictou County Weeks.
Game time is 1:00PM.
