Titans beat South Shore 8-1.

The Taylar Made Security Titans exploded for 8 goals on Friday in St. Margaret's, defeating the visiting South Shore Canadian Tire Mustangs by a score of 8-1.

Mitchell Henneberry had 2 goals and an assist in the win, while Luke Short added a goal and 2 assists.

Zack Clarke and Jordan Keizer had a goal an assist each for the Titans, who outshot the Mustangs 74-21.

Brandon Boutilier, Tyler Mathieu and Adam Stevens also scored for the first-place Titans, and Brody Power, Adam Brown and Zach Anderson each contributed 2 assists to the effort.

Jake Brennan stopped 20 of 21 shots, bringing his GAA down to 1.83, which is below the league record of 1.87 set in 1992, with only one game in the regular season remaining.

The Titans will wrap up their regular season on Saturday night when they take on the Dartmouth Subways at the Halifax Forumk at 7:30PM.
