Titans Win Opener
2010-09-05Halifax scores 5 Power Play goals in win over Valley
The Halifax Taylar Made Security Titans opened their 2010-11 NSMMHL season with a 7-3 win over the Valley Wildcats this afternoon before a large crowd in Kentville.
Alex Hazlehurst led the way for the Titans scoring 3 times and adding 2 assists. The Titans also got 2 goals and 2 assists from Pat MacIsaac, single goals by Jeremy Butterworth and team captain Adam Stevens. Rookie forward Ryan Falkenham added 4 assists.
Halifax tallied 5 times with the man advantage.
The Titans travel back to Kentville Tuesday night for a rematch with the Wildcats. Game time is 8:00pm.
