Titans Seal The Series In Double Overtime

In front of a packed St. Margaret's Centre on Saturday night, the Titans found themselves down 1-0 late in the first period as the Dawgs took that lead into the intermission.
In the second period, the Titans rebounded with Brett McNeil and Jordan Keizer scoring giving Halifax a 2-1 lead which they carried into the third.
The Dawgs tied the game 2-2 midway through the third period meaning overtime was necessary for the second time in this championship series.
With no scoring in the first overtime, double overtime was needed where Ryan Falkenham of the Titans scored off the wing going fivehole on the Dartmouth goaltender at 15:31(2OT).
With this win the Halifax TaylarMade Security Titans take Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League title for the first time in 17 years.
Later this week the Titans will be participating in the 2011 Atlantic Major Midget Championship March 31st - April 3rd in Charlottetown, PEI
