Week End Wins
2011-09-26The Titans wrapped up the week end with back-to-back wins as the second week of regular season got underway.
On Saturday, the Titans hosted the Weeks Major Midgets and easily coasted to an 8-1 win. Goals were shared : B MacEachen (2) , Doiron, Mullally, MacNeil, McNeil, Hazelhurst (2).
On Sunday the team travelled to the Valley to face the Wildcats and once again, the Titans came out on top with a 4-2. Yochoff (R MacEachen, Hazelhurst) opened up the scoring followed by Rappoldt (Mullally, R MacEachen), B MacEachen (R MacEachen, McNeil) and McNeil (Hazelhurst).
The team is travelling to Cape Breton this week end to face-off against the Tradesman. Play gets underway at 7:30 pm Saturday, in Sydney Mines and Sunday at noon at Centre 200. Bus leaves at 9:00 am from the Forum and players should arrive by 8:30am.
