The defending Nova Scotia and Atlantic major midget champion Halifax Taylar Made Security Titans are off to a perfect 6-0 start in Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League play this season after earning two more wins on the road in Cape Breton this weekend.

The Titans held off a hard working Cape Breton Tradesmen team 5-3 Saturday night. Jeremy Butterworth, Ethan Marsh, Adam Clarke, Alex Hazlehurst, and Zach Anderson had the goals for the Titans. Tyler Pyke with two and Ryan Groom countered for the Tradesmen.

Balanced scoring was much the same Sunday afternoon as the Titans got goals from six different players in their 6-4 victory at Centre 200. Hazlehurst, Marsh, Carter Piercey, John MacDonald, Liam Rappoldt, and captain Brad MacEachen had the goals. Pyke answered with two once again for the Tradesmen who also had goals from Groom and Cavan Fitzgerald.

The Titans go into the league mini-break this week for the Atlantic Challenge Cup, being held in Moncton, with a three point lead in the league standings. They will face off again October 12 on the road against the Cole Harbour WolfPack.
