Luc Poirier scores his second of the game on Sunday
Titans take 2 from Weeks Major midgets
Halifax Titans played the Weeks Major Midgets in a home and home series this past weekend.
On Saturday in New Glasgow, the Titans were ready to go from the opening faceoff and won 6-0 as Brett McNeil (2), Ethan Marsh, Dillon Boucher, Campbell Pickard and Drew Packman all scored. Jacob Dempsey got the shut-out with 10 saves.
On Sunday at the Halifax Forum, the Titans were in a much tighter game until the last half of the 3rd period and ended up with an 8-3 victory. Ethan Marsh (2), Luc Poirier (2), Drew Packman, Nick Welsh, Dillon Boucher and Jack Patterson all scored. Nick Dawe got the win in goal.
The Titans next game is Sunday October 7th as they take on their cross bridge rivals Dartmouth Taylor Flooring Major Midgets at 12:00pm @ Civic.
