Titans take "Pink in the Rink" game
On Saturday, the Titans hosted the Cape Breton Tradesmen in the teams' first meeting of the year in the "Pink in the Rink" game.
As usual between these two teams, the game was a physical, hard-working affair with chances at both ends of the ice. The Titans took a 2-0 lead into the 2nd intermission, but Cape Breton kept coming and finally got within one goal late in the 3rd period. The Titans ended up getting an empty net goal and sealing the 3-1 victory.
Scoring for the Titans were Brett McNeil (2) and Dillon Boucher. Nicholas Dawe was solid in nets for the Titans all night long.
The next action for the Titans is Oct. 27th and 28th as they travel to Port Hood to take on the Cape Breton West Islanders.
