Titans take 3 out of 4 possible points
The Halifax Titans travelled to Port Hood this past weekend to face the Cape Breton West Islanders for 2 games in the Al MacInnis Sports Center.
On Saturday night, the Titans were slow out of the gate and it proved to be costly as the Islanders defeated the Titans 5-4 in a Shootout. Nick Dawe was good in goal all night as he kept the Titans in the game. Scoring for the Titans were Ethan Marsh, Jordan Bezanson, John MacDonald and Justin Doiron.
On Sunday in the re-match, the Titans got a much better team effort and managed a 4-3 victory. Jacob Dempsey was solid in goal with timely saves. Scoring for the Titans were Ethan Marsh, Drew Packman, Nick Welsh and Adam Clarke.
The next action for the Titans is on Tuesday Oct. 30th as they travel to Bridgewater to take on the South Shore Mustangs @ 7:30pm.
