Titans take games against Valley and CB Tradesmen
The Halifax Titans got solid efforts and were rewarded with two wins this past weekend.
On Saturday, the Titans travelled to Berwick to take on the league leading Valley Wildcats. Despite going down 1-0 in the first period, the Titans stuck with the game plan and managed to tie the game in the 3rd, take the lead and then reclaim the lead with 25 seconds left to take a 3-2 W. Jordan Yochoff with 2 goals and Adam Clarke with the winner, and Jacob Dempsey with another solid game in nets.
On Sunday, the Titans welcomed the CB Tradesmen to the Forum and jumped on them early and often resulting in a convincing 9-1W.
Scoring for the Titans were Layton Parsons with 3, Brett McNeil, Luc Poirier, Ethan Marsh, Patrick Stewart, Jordan Bezanson and Daniel Little with his 1st goal as a Titan. Nick Dawe was solid and steady in nets all game.
The next action for the Titans will be on Wed. Nov. 14th as they welcome their cross town rivals Dartmouth Major Midgets @ 8pm. This game will be televised on EASTLINK as well.
