Titans return to form!

The Halifax Titans snapped their slump this weekend by winning all three games they played in the NSEMMHL.

On Friday, the Titans travelled across the harbour to take on the Dartmouth Major Midgets. Needing a re-focus, and new attitude, the Titans came out flying and with a total team effort, won 4-1. Ethan Marsh led the way with 2 goals and Campbell Pickard and Jordan Bezanson chipped in with singles. Nick Dawe was solid in nets making 24 saves.

On Saturday, the Titans travelled to Bridgewater to take the South Shore Mustangs. The Titans were ready to go from the opening faceoff and did not let up all night as they took the game 9-0. Scoring for the Titans were Ethan Marsh (3),  Jordan Yochoff (2), John MacDonald, Campbell Pickard, Adam Clarke, and Nick Welsh. Nick Dawe made 10 saves for the win, while the Titans fired 68 shots on goal.

On Sunday, the Titans hosted the Mustangs in the Civic and the effort and results were very similar as the Titans won 8-1. Leading the way for the Titans was Campbell Pickard with 4 goals and an assist. Rounding out the scoring were Ethan Marsh (2g, 1a), Dillon Boucher and Nick Welsh. Jacob Dempsey made 19 saves for the win.

The Titans now travel this week to Quebec City for the Reebok Invitational Tournament. Please check the website this week for updates and photos.
