Titans get a split

The Halifax Titans started the 2nd round of the NSEMMHL playoffs slow out of the gate, but responded in the end to earn the split in the opening weekend of action.
On Saturday, nothing went the way of the Titans as Dartmouth handed the Titans a 6-1 setback. Nick Welsh was the only player to score as the Titans were out played and out shot 28-20.
On Sunday, the Titans responded with a much better effort and were rewarded with the 4-3 victory to tie the series at 1-1. Jordan Yochoff, Dillon Boucher, Jack Patterson and Justin Doiron with the winner with 3 minutes left, scored for the Titans. Jacob Dempsey made 31 saves for the win.
The series now shifts to the Dartmouth Sportsplex for games 3 and 4 this weekend; Saturday @ 7:30pm and Sunday @ 1pm.
