Titans drop Saturday's game, come back on Sunday in Triple OT
The NSEMMHL semi final series between the Halifax Titans and Dartmouth Midgets will now be a best of 3 as both teams got victories this past weekend.
On Saturday, the Titans were on the losing end of a 2-0 game. Nick Dawe made 20 saves to give the Titans a chance, but they could not find the back of the net.
On Sunday, the Titans came out with a renewed effort level and after 60 mins the game was knotted up 2-2. The teams would play another 3 periods of overtime and finally after 105 minutes, Adam Clarke became the hero and potted the winner, his 2nd of the game, at the 4:19 mark of the 6th period giving the Titans the 3-2 victory. Jack Patterson had the other Titans goal and Jacob Dempsey made 50 saves with a great effort.
Game 5 will now take place on Wed. Mar. 06 @ 6:30pm, Halifax Forum.
