Titans Players Impress at Gatorade Excellence Challenge

Team NS wrapped up the Gatorade Excellence Challenge in Broisbriand, Quebec today with a 11-2 win over Team PEI to capture 5th place in the 6 team event.....
Team NS wrapped up the Gatorade Excellence Challenge in Blainville-Boisbriand, Quebec today with a 11-2 win over Team PEI to capture 5th place in the 6 team event.
Halifax Titans players figured largely in the victory with Luc Poirer leading the charge with 2 goals in the final game. Campbell Pickard also had a strong game potting a goal and 2 assists.
Layton Parsons and Nick Welsh chipped in with 2 assists each while Dillon Boucher had one assist. Daniel Little was held off the score sheet but provided solid defensive play in the win.
During the 4 round robin games Titans players were in on 5 of the 9 goals scored and collected player of the game awards in 2 of the 4 games (Welsh and Poirer).
Great showing by the Titans players and congratulations to all the players on Team NS who represented their province, families and teams this past week.
