5 Halifax Players Drafted at QMJHL Draft

Congrats to the following Halifax Major Midget players who were selected at the annual QMJHL draft in Chicoutimi, Quebec yesterday:

Nick Welsh – Round 2 – Shawinigan
Campbell Pickard – Round 5 – Baie Comeau
Dillon Boucher – Round 7 – Cape Breton
Layton Parsons – Round 8 – Charlottetown
Jordan Bezanson – Round 11 – Charlottetown
 
Welsh was the highest drafted NS born player taken at #33 overall.  The Halifax club led Atlantic Canada in selections from a single team with 5.
