On Wednesday, January 23rd, the McDonalds beat the McCains 5-4 in a shootout in Cole Harbour. The Macs followed up with a win Friday night over Cape Breton West.
On Wednesday, January 23rd, the McDonalds beat the McCains 5-4 in a shootout in Cole Harbour. The Macs followed up with a win Friday night, 5-2, over CBW, and an 8-7 OT loss to Dartmouth on Sunday, also at home.The Macs picked up 5 out of a possible 6 pts in the last three games.
Alex Zafaris scored the evenutal winner in a shootout against the McCain. Also scoring for the Macs were Justin Campbell, Doug Hore, Brock Knoll, and Justin Keizer. John Hubley and Dylan King each picked up a pair of assists, while Ryan Fortune and Zach Sutton added one each. Alex Newman earned the win in net for the Macs.
