Former Halifax Midget Signs 1st Pro Deal

Congrats to Halifax Major Midget Alumni Ben Duffy (06-07) on signing his first pro contract with the Montreal Canadiens Organization.
Duffy signed a one-year contract with the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Canadiens AHL affiliate.
Terms of the deal were not announced by the Montreal Canadiens’ AHL affiliate. Duffy played his fifth and final junior season with the P.E.I. Rocket last year and led the QMJHL in scoring with 39 goals and 71 assists.
The 21-year-old undrafted forward participated in the Montreal Canadiens development camp last week, where he registered a hat trick in the camp’s final game on Sunday.
