Macs Sweep Weekend Games

The Macs continued their road swing to start the season.
Saturday in Berwick the Macs skated to a 5-2 win over the defending Atlantic Champion, Valley Wildcats.
Scoring for the Macs was Johnny Jones, Ryan MacEachen, Barrett Dachyshyn, Jacob Hickey and Shawn Hubley.
Luc Poirier and Jordan Bezanson chipped in with 2 assists each.
Justin Ritcey made 21 saves for the win.
Sunday the Macs travelled to Pictou and skated away with a 6-3 win.
Johnny Jones led the attack with 2 goals and 2 assists while Dillon Boucher potted a goal and 2 assists. Luc Poirer chipped in 3 assists and Shawn Hubley a goal and an assist. Also scoring was Daniel Little and Jacob Hickey.
Reilly Pickard made 17 saves for the win.
Wednesday night the Macs take to the ice in their home opener against the Valley Wildcats. Game time is 7:00pm at the Halifax Forum.
