Macs Return to the Win Column, Regain First Overall

Opening Ceremony for Remembrance Day
The Halifax McDonalds traveled down the highway on Sunday to battle the South South Mustangs. Each team exchanged a couple goals in the first period ending with a 2-2 tie.
The Macs jumped ahead by 2 into the second but the Mustangs earned one back before the end of the period.
Despite running into penalty trouble the Macs scored 3 times in the third. Sealing the win for Halifax was the returning Peter Drohan and Carter Piercey who put one into the empty net.
Scoring for the Macs was Peircey(2), Yochoff, Doiron, Hickey, Jones and Drohan. Justin Ritcey made 26 saves for his 8th win of the season.
With the win the Macs jump back into 1st overall with a point ahead of Cole Harbour. They will also take this momentum into the 33rd Annual Monctonian which will start this Thursday.
