Halifax McDonalds & Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank
This Holiday Season the Halifax McDonald's are teaming up with the Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank to sponsor a family.
The Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank is a registered charitable organization administered by the Community Care Network Society - Charitable Registration Number: 14015 1465 RR0001. They provide food, furniture, skills development, mentoring and support services to the residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Last Christmas they provided nearly 1,100 families with all the ingredients for a traditional Christmas dinner.
This year the Halifax McDonalds want to do their part for the community they are fortunate enough to play in. And we also want to offer a friendly challenge to all the other teams in the NSEMMHL to pick a charity in their community and help a less fortunately individual or family this Christmas.
