This November the Nova Scotia Eastlink Major Midget Hockey League partnered with the Canadian Diabetes Association for Diabetes Awareness Month.
The campaign was called "Saves for Diabetes" where every team in the league would donate $1 for every goaltender save made in the month of November.
Prior to our game against South Shore on Sunday, team captain Ryan MacEachen presented the Canadian Diabetes Association with a cheque in the amount of $200
