The playoff match-ups may be set but that doesn’t mean the final game of the regular season isn’t important. Wednesday night’s game between Newbridge Academy Gladiators and Halifax McDonalds will have one thing on the line, bragging rights. These two teams have had a fierce rivalry for as long as they’ve been in existence. It doesn’t matter if it’s the regular season or the league finals, each team wants the distinction of being the best.
This will be the 4th (and final) meeting of the season with the Gladiators having the edge over the Macs so far. However, the McDonalds are coming into this match on a 11-game winning streak. Whether your join us in attendance or watch from the comfort of your home on Eastlink TV; a “Halifax vs. Dartmouth” match-up never disappoints.
If you are coming to the game, please note our start time of 6:30pm. We ask the fans attending to take a seat early as we will be celebrating our IceJam victory with the Bantam champions Bubba Ray’s Gulls in a special pre-game ceremony.
And if you are not able to make it to the Forum Wednesday night, this game will be broadcasted on Eastlink TV. The HD feed (channel 610) will start at 6:30pm and the SD feed (channel 10) will join the game in progress at 7pm after TV Bingo **
