McDonalds vs South Shore - NSEMMHL Semi-Finals

The Halifax McDonalds continue their play-off push this weekend when they host the South Shore Mustangs in the NSEMMHL Semi-Finals.
In the opening round the McDonalds learned firsthand that a team on paper isn’t always the same team that shows up on the ice. The Macs saw two loses on home ice against the Cape Breton Tradesmen in the Quarter-Finals. The loses were valuable as they taught the Macs how to deal with adversity and to focus on the tasks on hand.
The Mustangs come into this series after defeating the defending League and Atlantic Champion Valley Wildcats 4 games to 1. South Shore is riding the hot hands of rookie forward Keith Getson and goaltender Nicholas Dawe who made 43 saves in the series clinching Game 5. If the same sounds familiar it should, Dawe is the former goaltender for the Halifax program from last season.
